Welcome to our new blog. We started it in late 2009, in order to fill our need to have a central place to share bits of our lives with our family and friends.

Jamin is a professional software developer, whose official title at the company he works for is Vice President of Technology. He went to school at Abilene Christian University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Media. Elise is a stay-at-home mother who does a wonderful job keeping the baby out of the light sockets and somehow manages to remain sane. Jhonen is a recent addition who, at the time of this writing, is crawling, babbling, exploring our house, abusing our cats, and trying like hell to get into the aforementioned light sockets.

Unlike Jamin’s previous forays into personal websites, we plan for this to be a bit more of a community effort, to be less about programming and computer junk, and more about our growing family. As such, our intended primary audience is a bit more focused on our family and friends, though of course anyone is welcome to read it. We will try to make regular updates with pictures and videos of Jhonen and the rest of us.

With the introductions out of the way, there are a couple other things to keep in mind. You will probably enjoy the website much more if you use Mozilla Firefox. Jamin firmly believes that Internet Explorer should be eradicated from the face of the Internet. In order to play the videos, you’ll also need a fairly recent version of Adobe Flash Player.
